My book isn’t set in a futuristic world or a fantasy land where everything is magical. It’s grounded in reality, with locations like a local bar and characters who are as real as you and me. In the end, what makes a place extraordinary are the emotions we attach to it — like how a bar with overpriced Guinness can become a place of deep sentiment.
